Now Accepting Nominations!
2024 Leadership in History Awards
Nomination Deadline: March 1
Have you and your organization created an innovative or important project, program, exhibition, or publication? Do you know of someone who has made a significant contribution to state or local history?
The American Association for State and Local History is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Leadership in History Awards!
Our awards are non-competitive! That means your nomination will be considered on its own merits, not compared to other nominations.
We accept nominations from everyone and everywhere. You do not have to be a history organization or history practitioner to win an award. Organizations of all types and sizes, including arts groups, religious bodies, professional and civic organizations, and all-volunteer groups are eligible and regularly receive awards. We also accept nominations and recognize projects by organizations and people who are not AASLH members, although we’d love to have you as an AASLH member!
