Terry Jackson is the Membership and Database Manager. She began her work with AASLH in 2006 as the Grant Coordinator for the IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf program. She has worked on long-term projects in multiple areas at AASLH, most recently undertaking the conversion of the Membership Database to a new software in March 2015. As a native of Nashville, Terry worked in the financial field for many years. Terry went back to school and received her BA in History with a Southern Culture minor in 2003. She has also taken classes in Middle Tennessee State University’s Masters in Public History program. She has worked in a small house museum, the local county archive, has volunteered with a local cemetery friends group, the Tennessee Portrait Project, and is currently a volunteer tutor at a local elementary school’s reading clinic.
