Marie Pellissier
Marie Pellissier is a MA student in the Public History Program at Loyola University Chicago. She received her BA in History from Boston College. She has worked at the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, D.C., Old Sturbridge Village, and as a social worker. Currently she is interning with the Evanston Women’s History Project in Evanston, IL. She is interested in museum education and public programs, inclusivity and accessibility in museums, and early American history.

Jennifer Torres
Jennifer Torres is an emerging museum professional with a specialty in collections management and registration. She holds a B.A in Anthropology and Classical Studies from the University of Florida and a M.A. in Museums Studies from the George Washington University. She is currently the Collections Technician at the Johns Hopkins Archaeological Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, where she rehouses and photo-documents the museum’s collection of archaeological objects from ancient world. Her work supports the museum’s teaching mission by making the collection accessible to the public for the first time in the museum’s history. Jennifer has previous collections experience at the Smithsonian Institution, the George Washington University Museum and the Textile Museum, the Fairfax County Park Authority, and the Florida Museum of Natural History.
Casey Wooster
Casey Wooster is a MA candidate in Museum Studies at the University of Florida, where her research focuses on the role of museums as agents for social change. She recently presented at the 2016 Florida Association of Museums Conference on “Engaging Community Voices in Exhibition and Content Development.” Currently, she is working on her certificate in Digital Humanities and is developing her project in lieu of thesis, which examines online exhibitions as interpretational mediums. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with dual BAs in Creative Photography and Anthropology.
The AASLH Emerging History Professionals (EHP) Affinity Community supports, connects, and unites the newest generation of state and local history practitioners. This community provides support and professional development opportunities for emerging history professionals while creating and maintaining physical and digital spaces where EHPs can meet, discuss ideas, and network.
