Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations (STEPS)
STEPS rewards your organization with certificates each time it reports back to AASLH that it has achieved all of the Basic (Bronze), Good (Silver) or Better (Gold) performance indicators in one of the six workbook sections.
Earning certificates can bring your organization local and statewide recognition plus valuable support material for funding requests and grant applications. And, they motivate your organization to continue in the program until it has earned all eighteen program certificates.
