Connect to Your Peers with AASLH’s Telegraph Discussion Forum

Connect to your peers in the national history community, network, ask questions, and share resources and news on the AASLH Telegraph discussion forum.

Are you starting a new project and wondering if others have tried something similar? Did you come across a resource that’s helpful that you think others should know about? Are you looking for collaborators? AASLH Telegraph is for making connections.

AASLH Telegraph is open to anyone. You do not need to be an AASLH member to participate in discussions.

AASLH Telegraph is on the Google Group platform. Follow these directions to join:

  1. Go to AASLH Telegraph
  2. Click Sign In in the upper right to sign into your Google account or create an account (it’s free and you do not need to use a GMail address)
  3. Click About on the left side of the screen.
  4. Click the Ask to Join Group button.
  5. Your request to join will be sent to AASLH staff for approval. Once approved, you will be able to start and participate in discussions.
  6. Click the Ask to Join Group button and you’ll be able to begin participating in the conversations once we’ve approved your request.

Once you’ve joined, simply click the New Conversation button on the top left to start a new conversation or click on an existing conversation to see what’s being shared and to participate in conversations started by others.

Discussions should be related to topics connected to history, museums, and historic sites and should abide by AASLH’s Code of Conduct.
